Les Plastiqueurs/GIMU was created in 1997 when a group of performing artists and technicians got together with a view to take the Arts out in the streets and make it accessible to a wider audience.
In between outdoor performing and visual arts, Les Plastiqueurs members lead a multi-disciplinary artistic research (street theatre, objects-based theatre, visual arts, video, site-specific installations etc.) and develop projects based in public spaces such as temporary installations, street parades, props etc. from one-offs creations to outreach projects.
