Vivacity is an independent, not-for-profit organisation with charitable status. They manage many of Peterborough’s most popular culture and leisure facilities and organise various events on behalf of Peterborough City Council.

The team works across four main areas – arts, heritage, libraries and sport – for the physical and cultural well being of people living in Peterborough, working in partnership with various organisations and stakeholders.

Vivacity organise the Peterborough arts festival on the 1st weekend of September, and delivers a large programme of community arts activities and workshops over the summer, for the work to be presented as part of the festival.
