About fifty people took part in this two-day conference organised by the Université de Rouen and Atelier 231 earlier on this month (4th - 5th June 2014) at the Maison de l’Université, on ’The street as a space for choreography : receptions, participations, changes’
A special soiree was organised at Atelier 231 for conference participants and the general public, with UK companies Candoco presenting Studies for C and Saffy Setohy with Invisible Lines, as well as a work-in-progress presentation of The Baina Trampa Fritz Fallen from French collective G. Bistaki
Through bringing together researchers, artists and professionals, this two day-conference has once again stressed the importance of cross-referencing various sources of knowledge, creating links and interactions between professionals from both sides of the Channel from shared disciplines.
