As part of ’Before Z’arts Up !’, Anglo-French event held in Béthune’s Mont-Liébaut district on Friday 16th May 2014, Culture Commune have involved Irish company Bui Bolg, visual artist Didier Mawjevski and several primary schools in developing ’Frenglish style’ outdoor installations for the event.
Since 11th March and for 7 weeks, pupils from Charlemagne, Buisson and Victor Hugo primary schools will be making signage elements, large-scale stamps with images of the Queen or the Eiffel Tower, hats and post-its. They will also create a Frenglish flag and a small-scale double-decker.
To discover the results of this exciting project, both artistic and educational, involving more than 200 pupils in Béthune...pop in on 16th May 2014 in the Mont-Liébaut area !
